# Governance

The users of the Mobius Finance protocol who possess (MOT) will be able to participate and vote in the governance DAO. The community governance will be achieved through the basic principle of “one MOT, one vote.” (ie. each MOT will be equal to one vote).

MOT holders will have voting rights for all proposals in the initial stages of Mobius governance as follows:

● Update various rate parameters

● Update and propose new moAssets markets and new collateral assets

● Submit community proposals

● Propose integrations with other projects and/or updates to mining pools

In the future, MOT holders will gradually gain complete control of the protocol, and ultimately determine the protocol development, enabled markets, and, ecosystem incentives.
